Wow, I can see the headline...Red balloon menaces scary bird, innocent bystander injured... I do hope your friend has recovered...Where did you see such an owl,and, why were there balloons about with children tied to them??

i can't explain the balloon,
but the owl was there for a charity called The Smiles Foundation. My friend went to Romania to work in a gypsy village for a while, so this charity raises money for that project.
