Give Me A Lifetime….

When you hold me tight,
I know just how right,
We are together,
And that we’ll be forever.

But when you are away,
My thoughts get in the way,
Of feeling secure & trusting you,
And I don’t know what to do.

I want to scream & cry,
Then you catch my eye,
And shout silently how you feel,
And hope that I’ll know you’re real.

But darling, deep down inside my heart can see,
How you truly feel about us & me.
So it you give me a lifetime as my man,
I promise to love & trust you & never let go of your hand.
