My mother was telling me what she dreamed of last night. That she had a double life, in one she was a peasant woman with a two year old daughter. She claimed she never saw the child in the dream, that someone else was watching it, ... typical. In her other life she was on an army base. She was IN the army. She's mixing her life and the life of my gf's parents..Weird.

Weirder yet, whilst she was talking, and I was standing at the stove boiling water for hot chocolate, I got the strongest craving ever for chocolate cake. Not just any kind though, the really ..nearly black cake, with the painfully sweet white frosting that we used to be served in elementary school. The cake that when you saw it coming up in the selection bar in the cafeteria line, the cardboard pizza and dehydrated corn didn't really look so bad if you could wash it down with this brutal chunk of cake paradiso. Cold flush of milk after that, those little cartons held just the right amount of ice cold product.....

Okay life in your house is seldom on the boring side I can sense. And yes the cake at the end og the lunch line always made the cardboard pizza and hard corn soaked in what I think they called butter easier to handle.
Although the pizza made great frisbees and the corn well that is a whole different disgusting topic. lol
