Life takes us upon different paths
Sometimes we don’t get along
I understand the differences
But you hit me with a prong

I remember reaching out to you
But you pushed me away
You didn’t even notice
As I was left with nothing to say

I walked away noticing your clique
As I was treated like I had no place
You all may think it’s funny
But I never joined the pace

I went away minding mine own
But I began to see how others felt
Yes, I stood up to the group
So you could deal with what you dealt

I really think people should be true
That’s why I put things on the spot
Amazingly, no one said a word
So being true is something they’re not

My words spoke the truth
As everyone claims that’s what they like
It is obvious that they pretend
That’s why they need to take a hike

I don’t believe that I’m perfect
But neither are you
Stop the nonsense of treating me
That you got a clue
