Hi LMPsters! Let's share our favorite Holiday Recipes.

Here's a great Christmas Tequila Cookie recipe that I thought you might want to try
this year:

1 cup of water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 cup of brown sugar
lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequilla

Sample the Cuervo to check quality.
Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo
again, to be sure it is of the highest
quality, pour one level cup and drink.

Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one
cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.

Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again.
At this point it's best to make sure the
Cuervo is still OK, try another cup ...
just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2
leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in
the cup of dried fruit, Pick the
******** fruit off floor... Mix on the
****. If the fried druit gets stuck
in the beaterers just pry it loose with
a drewscriver. Sample the Cuervo to
check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or
something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check
the Jose Cuervo. Now shift the lemon
juice and strain your nuts. Add one
table. Add a spoon of sugar, or
somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash
the oven.


Turn the cake tin 360 degrees
and try not to fall over. Don't forget
to beat off the ****. Finally, throw
the bowl through the window, finish the
Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.

Here's are a few they arent funny but they taste pretty good..lol

Black Forest Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix

1 box vanilla pudding

1 container of cool whip

1 can of cherry pie filling

1 jar of marschino cherries.

Prepare chocolate cake mix according to directions & bake as directed, after cake comes out of the oven spread on cherry pie filling and cool. After the cake is cooled mix up box of pudding as directed; fold in coolwhip. Spread the pudding mixture over cake & top with the marschino cherries. You can eat it while it's warm but its better after it's been in the fridge and chilled a few hours.

Puttin on the ritz
COOKIE

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk(NOT evaporated milk)

1 c. chopped dates

1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

70 to 80 round crackers

Boil sweetened condensed milk and chopped dates until thickened. Add nuts and spread on crackers. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Frost.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. powdered sugar

1/2 c. butter, softened

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients; spread generously over cooled cookie. Yield: 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 dozen. Refrigerate or keep tightly covered.

Friendship Cake
FRIENDSHIP CAKE STARTER 1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail, 1 (16 oz.) can peaches, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, 2 1/2 c. sugar,

Combine fruit cocktail with juice, peaches with juice and 2 1/2 cups sugar in large jar. Stir with wooden spoon until sugar is dissolved, cover. Let stand at room temperature. Stir each day for 10 days. Add pineapple with juice and 2 1/2 cups sugar, mix well.

Stir each day for 10 days. Add cherries (cut in half) with juice and remaining 2 1/2 cups sugar, mix well. Stir each day for 10 days. Store in refrigerator. May store in refrigerator indefinitely. Yields enough for 7 cakes.

FRIENDSHIP CAKE:

1 (2 layer) pkg. white cake mix, 1 1/2 c. Friendship Cake Starter, 2/3 c. oil, 4 eggs ,1 c. chopped pecans Combine cake mix, Friendship Cake Starter, oil and eggs in bowl, mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan few minutes. Invert onto serving plate. Can be baked in 2 loaf pans.

Chocolate Eclair Cake

1 box plain graham crackers

2 boxes vanilla instant pudding

1 container of coolwhip

1 container of chocolate icing



Make the vanilla pudding as instructed on the package & mix in the cool whip. Melt the icing in the microwave for about 20 seconds,it should be soupy. Put a layer of graham crackers in a baking dish,drizzle with some icing then some pudding continue doing layers till you run out of graham crackers & pudding an then drizzle the rest of the icing on the top layer.Chill in the fridge for a couple hours or overnight. Overnight is better.
