I went to see Van Halen last night with David Lee Roth singing lead vocals, which is the way it should be in my opinion. He looked and sounded great. His voice had not changed all that much and eventhough he couldn't do the high jumps like he used to to he was still a great entertainer.
Eddie Van Halen, well what can you say about him.........except he is THE GUITAR GOD! Watching him play and listening to him play was a beautiful thing. The man is f'n unbeleivable and I am so happy to get the see him at work. Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddies son is on his way to being a guitar god himeself I believe.......he can play the hell of the bass guitar! Those Van Halens know how to jam and play some rock n f'n roll. Eddie's brother is still the drummer and did an awesome drum solo. It was a great night for some fantastic rock n roll music. I had to kinda laugh at myself because I looked around at all the old people there to see this rock band and realized I was one of the old people........remember as the bands get older so do the fans. lol Now, let me say they probably played for nearly two hours and played every song you would have wanted them to. They started with You Really Got Me and ended with Jump. I couldn't have asked for a better Saturday night. Thats my review of the Van Halen consert. Right? I saw mostly grandparents and babies at Fleetwood Macs last outing,lol. Glad Dave was cool, and I bet Wolfie is awesome to see. Glad you had a great time!!

Eddie looked great and he was enjoying himself. He played that guitar like nothing I have every seen before. This will be the third time I have seen him play but this time was the best ever. He just smiled away while he jammed, that guy freakin rocks.

If he was not feeling well, he didn't show it. They played and performed well together....like two old friends who have found their way back together.......like brothers.....Eddie and David I mean.
