How did I become a fan of Lisa's?

This is gonna sound strage but here's goes nothing...it all began when I was about 5 yrs old, when I saw Elvis' funeral being broadcasted on TV. I remember it like it was yesterday; I sat in front of the television and just cried my eyes out. I didn't know who this person was; I just knew that he was someone special. Eventually I became familiar w/ Elvis' music through my mom & dad. My grandmother was a HUGE fan of Elvis’ as well. She even had delusions of Elvis talking to her after he died, which freaked the living s.hit out of me! Growing up in a family that loved Elvis, I was able to hear stories about this magnificent life he lead and how generous he was. I loved the whole southern boy making it big time story & how close Elvis remained w/ his family even after stardom. His talent speaks for itself. So, my curiosity w/ Lisa began a long time ago when I would read books & magazines about Elvis that had her in them. I often wondered if she would ever make music of her own. Some years later, when Lisa was finally ready to introduce herself to us musically, I was ecstatic! I had no preconceived notions of what to expect. But, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I finally heard her voice & she ROCKED!!! I love her daddy's music, but her music touches me in a different way. She is her father's child, there is not mistake about it, but to me, her music sets her apart from her father completely. You get a sense of who Lisa is as a person, not just being the daughter of Elvis & Cilla Presley. I truly admire her. She is undeniably a remarkable woman and is a force to be recon with. Her music speaks volumes to me and I just love her for that.

Michael Jackson actually..ha..anyway. I heard Lisa was working on an album the December before TWIMC was released...I admired Lisa soo much..my family would tease me and call me little Lisa Marie...we even nicknamed my mom Cilla and Stepdad Elvis..my older sister was just plain out of luck,haha! But yeah...was hooked on Lisa since the very beginning..& **** proud!

my mum had scored free tix to one of her sydney shows that was on that night... so i went. i wasn't really expecting much, but was blown away when i got there and realised how cool she was.

Well obviously here music but it's the lyrics as well! They all relate to something and i love that! And of course my dad was and still is a fan of elvis. I think the fact that LMP and her father was close, me and my dad is too! that's why when i visit Graceland, it's with my dad and we are this December!!! wahoo!! i can't wait. This is something i've been looking forward to in YEARS!!!!

I didn't grow up with Elvis's music in my house so I will have to say I am a fan of Lisa because of Lisa. I like Elvis's music but he wasn't listened to much growing up so he wasn't a huge impact on me. Lisa has been however and I was just watching tv one night and came across an interview with her on VH1 and couldn't stop wathching. I saw part of her Lights Out video and loved her voice. I bought her album just hearing part of Lights Out and the rest is history as they say.

back in 2003 when someone gave me a promo copy of her first album.

I would have to say I started with her father firstLove that man!!!!!

all i had to do was listen to her music & watch the 1st interview (almost 3 yrs. ago) & i was hooked for life

at first, it was very random. I just bought the CD...
the rest is History.

It is amazing sometimes how people come into our lives!

I had a dream about Elvis & Lisa Marie, In the dream he came to me (I never told that part before) but the dream was about Lisa Marie performing and me being close to the stage and staring at her and singing with her. I then found out she was performing at the Westbury music fair (with Chris Isaacs) so I purchased tickets and was so happy because it was my birthday too. Lisa Marie rocked the show and after the show show I don't know what made me walk around the concert hall(I never did before and I had been going there for years) but I did and I was singing "So Lovely" and Lisa Marie walked out and said don't get crushed and I got to talk to her and told her she should headline her own show because she was awesome and she told me she had to perform in Pittsburgh -I couldn't go to that one so she said I will be at The stone Pony in New Jersey I think it was the 20th of July-not sure at the moment, then I asked her to add So Lovely to the set list and she was just so beautiful and I told her that I loved her and she stop signing briefly and looked me directly in the eyes and just smiled. I then went to the Stone Pony and was in the front row and she sung with me on "Lights Out" AND "S.O.B."-OMG it was dejavue and she came over for a moment during a sound error and the rest is history -I love her.
