its ashame that i really don't know whether or not that symbol means heaven

the butterfly to me is kind cliche for sure.... but i got it in honor of my mom. i remember that kind of hurting cuz i remember i had worked from 2am til 10 30 in the morning so i was tired and hungry. i remember laughing during it and cringeing.

i dont have any...but have always wanted one. ..maybe a little musical note or something idk. ....

I wasn't big into them but after I lost my mother to breast cancer this year. I got one on my inner wrist of her zodiac sign "MOM" and now adding her initials to it. At the same time placed zodiac symbols of my 2 boys on the other wrist.
Don't like the silly ones but the ones that have meaning are very cool!

omgosh you all when i lived in daytona lol....there was this guy that had a clown on his n i p p l e and the n i p p l e was his nose and it looked so real !!!! omg. lol

Ok ~ Mine is on my right wrist ... I got it when I ran off alone to Las Vegas (from Toronto Canada) to see LMP's show in Nov 06 @ the Empire Ballroom. I got the tatt on the Sunday while I was cruising the strip all alone with my thoughts.

I called off my engagement, told him 2 f uck off, hoped on a plane and went to sin city for the weekend to catch a great concert, have cocktails, adventures and re-group.....

Anyway.. my tatt is my initials (L.M.H.F.G.) Guess what the "F" represents (hee hee) ... in a macedonian font ~ with a butterfly landing on the "L" .

It is a symbol to me of strength and my personal metamorphosis. I love butterflies and although they appear fragile, they go through he ll from their initial state of being - pre-cocoon until they complete their evolution into the beautiful creature they become .....

That was my head space at the time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tatt .... it reminds me of my personal triumph through a bad relationship and a subsequent bad decision in accepting his proposal. I had to pull the proverbial "rip cord" and jump out of that plane the tatt as my only momento!

I got it done at "Vince Neil Ink" on the Vegas strip ... LOL!!!! It was a Dr. Feelgood kind of a day!

I think recall hearing you say you wanted to get a tattoo while you were in vegas..... that is sooooo cool i am glad you did. and i can't wait to yer tattoo.

I was really sick (turns out i had bronchitus) on that tour. I had cough drop tongue (red) the whole time.
That night I stayed in a few of us were supposed hang out on the strip. A cple of my friends went out to our one friend a tattoo. Thank gawd that not manage that night or i would missed out...... the next day. we went and she got her tattoo and i took pix. I wanted to get a tattoo sooooo bad that day, but the lady was toooooo expensive for me..... i ended up spending money on shamrock goodies for my friends and I.
But.... what a great time and memory.... well memories

I have got 4 tats myself. I got a pirate tat in honor of our girl.
My first one was the Superman "S" thats on his chest....thats my man there! Love me some Sups....hehe
