My landlord has 2 John deere mowers...That thing dragged me all over the fn lawn last weekend lmao. Never have I cut grass with such a powerful beast hehe..I was embarrassed The freaking thing scares me cuz I know I am gonna break it rotf

I soo don't know about lawnmowers!! I got so used to dragging my lawnmower backwards over the grass...lol...hard to explain. But this lawnmower does not like to go backwards! I have to do a complete turn and mow forward...I expected to be happier with a new lawn mower!

It doesnt like to go backwards bc it does have a drive on it I bet..Do you have to hold two bars up while ur mowing? That means its auto going forward...fighting the resistance if that makes sense. LMFAO I had the same problem...let go of the bar and then drag it. Omg you kill me....I heart Betsy you so remind me of me lol

Even if it doesnt have two, try letting go of the bar when you pull it back. Just saying :P Lemme know...I am telling ya, thats pretty much why my LL mower was dragging me around the yard...It had 3 settings and it was on fast rotf

I used to be able to use a riding lawn mower easier then those darn push ones! Now, the yard is hubby's baby so I dont have to worry about it, thank god lol. Good luck u guys!

haha 2 years later and he finally got a new mower.....ack! But at least you have a new one now!! Hopefully it is self propelled. Well just chalk it up to good excercise, now you won't feel so guilty being a couch potato on those days! I usually equate that to 3 days of workouts LOL ok so maybe I over estimate it a tad :P

im spoiled,my father in law is a landscaper.except if my grass is not always watered i get yelled at for letting it get brownish.
