Update on my Mom's Hep C Treatment - Topic Powered by eve community

As some of you know sometime back I posted about my Mom getting Hep C from a bllod transfusion back in 91'. She had been on her treatment for about 2 and 1/2 months now and they are seeing an improvement but her bone marrow is breaking down, I guess you could say. And she can barley make it to the car from the house because she almost passes out. Her doctor is going to start her on a treatment to build up her bone marrow. She is sick to her stomach most of the time but has not lost her hair. She is weak and having a hard time but she feels good about the improvment.

i know bad stuff happens to good people and when i hear too much it depresses me. nuff bout me, this is about you.

Thanks LJ, she is a fighter. She has been through so much in her life and I dont see her giving up any time soon. She is too see the doctors next week about the treatment. She is struggling with it wearing her down and making her very anemic and she is not sure if she can continue on with the treatments or not. We will just have to wait till after her doctors appt and see what they say.
