I am soooooo upset i realllly want to get writing here. i am having troubl;e with the same story i nearly lost the other night. so i am trying to work on it right????? and my computer gets realllly slow and desponent when i open this file. does anyone have any advice its very irretating maybe it takes it awhile for it (my computer) to open a file. any ideas cuz i dont want to loose this

is the file really big? if it is, maybe you're low on memory and opening a big file is dragging it down?? that'd be my 1st guess. . .

first min its realllly good to see you welll my disk is kinda full my story is only 38 pages i had 48 the other night but.... lost them what should i do??? save the story to another disk and how do i do that

by disk, what do you mean? 3 1/2 inch floppy, cd, hard drive. . .I don't know what the specs are on your computer, but what you've described sounds like it could be memory issues. i'd definitely save your story a couple different places. . .like on a disk as well as on your computer. (and save OFTEN so you don't lose things!!) maybe go thru your computer files and clean out some of the uneeded stuff. if you get rid of a bunch, then restart it and see if it runs a little better.

well it got back on track it just took a while and those pages i lost i hadbeen saving it all night and it said it needed to be revereted okat let me just pm you
