i plugged it in but when i turn it on
no greenlight comes on? it's a new camera,
Kodak digital, not even a year old?
is it busted already?
or am i doing something wrong? or should i
call their help number?

Go back to the store and exchange for another one ..

Most stores have the 30-90 day return policy and won't let you if it's been that long. My suggestion - call the help line. I am such a fan of customer service - if you are lucky and get someone who can speak your language! Or a person at all for that matter...

not to sound dumb,but is your battery charged?it happened to me once & I realized I just needed to charge it.Hope it is as simple as that.

that would be my question Beth because on those camreas if you don't use rechargeables your battries are gone fast I wouldn't trash it yet put ya a good set of rechargeables in it and make sure they are fullly charged and see if that don't fix ya up.
