I saw this msg in a dog group I was visiting and it asked people to post it at other forums and I figured i'd do it here if you have anyone to pass it on to please do the same?
I just got a message from an animal control officer regarding the dogs and cats at Manchester, GA shelter. She just got more puppies in and she has no room for them. She is no longer bursting at the seems but overflowing to the point that some will have to be euthanized if not placed immediately. Included is a short list of dogs/pups and cats, but this is not all. For a complete list please call the shelter at 706-846-9022. If you cannot rescue/adopt, please consider fostering a pet. You would be responsible for housing/loving/feeding them only. Vetting would be done by rescue. Please don't make her euthanize these animals. They're all highly adoptable. Please forward and crosspost. oh man. ....if i only had a place for them . ...id adopt them all. ...one time when i used to rescue animals ...there was a place where they were killing puppies ..and not in a humane way ...which i wont mention how ...but my resuce group ...we adopted all the animals out of the shelter at once. ...im sorry i cant read anymore of your post Ducky but thank you for posting and supporting our animal family ...i just cant think of that today ....
