and what perfect timing..... Not only have i had the priviledge (sp) of being old school here and meeting tons of new friends..................
I have experienced the same with Madonna'sfan club.
I had a friend of mine and her husband visit for a cple days from Michigan.
Her and I were actually old school in Madonna's fan club. Where i joined in 1994 and I believe she did too. Back then ( i know i know) the interent was not that popular...... so there were a few pages of ads that were printed at the back of ICON Madonna's fan zine.(over the years it dwendled down to 1 page) That was how my friend and i became pen pals in 1994 or when i was 15 or so. In those u could request ppl to write you or trade madonna items. My friend came out here to visit in 1996..... now that we look back her mom agreed that it might not be safe..... (which it was... she hung out with me, my crazy a..ss mother(right before she passed and my cat Boy Toy) Now that we look back the stuff she did, i did and we did..... we could have been killed or harmed rather.
Then she came back out here after madonna had rocco (2000) and then i finally went there for her wedding (i was in it) in 2006.... now she came back again this year..... and the memories over the last 14 years....... wowsers!!!!!! and what a circle or cycle that we live in...... that we are discussing the good ole days here..... and my friend comes to visit and we were doing the same thing for madonna's fan club...... since i was 15 when i joined madonna's and she 16..... we really saw how much we matured and we were there for one another through the challengeing times........ she is a huge fan of LISA'S and has posted on here in 06'. It's been an honor going through these things. As i look back to the things i got into over madonna..... i am reminded that nuttin much has changed.... cuz i have gotten into things while being a fan of lisa's danger danger..... i like adventure.... believe you me you think there are whack jobs here!!!!!!! You should hear the stories my friend and I have to tell about the whack jobs that followed Madonna...... need i say more about "gettin into things" LOL........ can I say and can you say FULL CIRCLE!!!!! wowsers!!!!!!
