A couple of people at work today said it was on the news that Owen Wilson (Meet the Parents")tried to kill himself. Supposedly, he cut both wrists and took some pills. Just wandering if anyone heard about it and why he did it.

I heard something about that but I am not clear about it yet. I don't know the whole story yet.

Wilson released a statement Monday through his publicist, Ina Treciokas: "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."

I think the rumor is he tried to commit suicide.. but like was stated above.. nothing comfirmed.. I wish him the best though.. I JUST LOVE him and hope he recovers.. from whatever is wrong..

phew! Being in the public eye all the time must be nervewrecking, and all the pressures. Being famous is not easy, so many are getting hurt or in trouble.
