That was crazy,this woman had gotten pregnant & never given birth to her baby,so 46 yrs later she has severe abdominal pain an is rushed to the hospital,an the dr's find a mass in her abdomen & realize its a fetus that's been in there that long,they do surgery & get it out & it's completly calcified. Who knew something like that could happen? Then a second woman on the show was pregnant w/ tripletts one of the tripletts was behind one of her organs an was not expected to make it, so they do a c-section an get the other babies out & then do a longer surgery to get the lil boy out an he's completly healthy,an is developed normally,I think they said he was the only one in the world to survive that. Anyways I just thought it was interesting and wondered if anyone saw it.

I saw it ~ that is so weird how the baby grew 2 term - outside of the uterus- but in the abdominal cavity... and that the body "calcified" the baby and it was left in there for so long ~ talk about a piece of medical history!!! She must have had a few problems to know that she was pregnant and let the baby stay inside of her when she knew it stopped moving & died . .. they mentioned something about it being a Moroccan "myth" about sleeping babies.. ???

Did you see when the cut the fetus in half to examine it when it was removed from the woman? eventhough it was calcified all of the organs appeared moist and "kept".... ??

I know it's amazing she didn't get an infection or something and die,but I guess it would have killed her if she hadn't went an had the surgery. I saw that part it was weird.

did you see the show before that one?? ~ I was a TLC junkie last night ~ I saw "Jackies Story - 627lb woman" and then the "One Ton Man".... The lady in the first story was really positive but the man and his wife in the 2nd story were very STRANGE.. .??? and sort of negative.. I guess it is important for TLC to focus on the issue of weight as it is such an epidemic in North America

I saw the last of the one ton man,I felt bad for him. Have you saw that one show about the guy who dies because he's overweight..that story is so sad..he has a wife and a sister,and he so wants to take care of them but he can't..poor guy.

OK I have to say that the people who are taking care of these over weight people should be charge with something !!
How can they keep feeding these over weight people like that !
It was unbelievable how a person can get that big .

What are you blind of couse you know he can't even get up !
Your the one feeding him he can't get up and get his own food so its your fault your killing him !
Some people just really piss me off with the way they treat other it's clear they need help and thease people who are feeding them are slowly killing them !!

I think it is horrible too TD for them doing that,they don't have to feed them that much,but I guess that the person just begs them and begs them until they give in,that is still not an excuse though. That is so sad that man died he was trying to get better.

What I didn't understand was when the guy was in the hospital the people at the hospital said if there loved ones bring them junk food then they can eat it ?
( there was no rule in not bringing junk food )

They need to say to there loved ones no matter what do not send junk food your not helping them your hurting them !
That's like if A friend is getting help from taking drugs in a hospital but a friend come and brings the drugs ..
How is that helping your friend ?
I think even if they are begging for 5 cheeseburgrs you got to say to bad if you want it bad enough then lose the weight and get it yourself .

That is stupid about the junk foods & doesn't make sense..how weird. I think if I was in that position I wouldnt want anything even if I asked for it I would want them to not bring it,because sometimes you have moments of weakness...they might not even really want the food maybe they are just bored or something.

Well it's addiction they can't help but overeat It's no different then drugs and alcohol .

Yep it's a sad thing,but it's good that there are places like that that can try to help them.

ya it's strange how you see people who are obese then you see people who are anorexia it's clear how things can get out of balance .
