I for one believe our system is not working. Working people foot the bill for those that don't pay there bills or dodge the system. My parents are self-employed and pay out the rear for this every year. My dad cannot retire because of it.

I don't care for Obama's plan because people will still be allowed to beat the system. I am sure you can find information about it on his website.

Something has to be done about this system because there are a lot of people that cannot afford it and cannot get help. Its just sad to see.

We could have both this plan and the current plans in effect. Actually that would cause competition in the field as far as price etc.

That is always a huge problem for small businesses has been for years, affordable insurance group plans.

Your welcome Jonee. This is an important issue and a hot topic with me.

Really we are already paying huge costs because people beat the system, its not right. People may laugh because they don't think the government should step in but think about it our costs rise if people are not covered. Therefore we are already paying for it. You can spin it any way you want but it's everyone's responsibility to take care of themselves. In order to do this we have got to find ways to reduce the cost.

Just to say that if we will lower costs and people will therefore buy it is wrong. Some people simply try beat the system. If we leave the loop hole we will pay out the rear because costs will only rise. Too many hospitals are closing or closing part of important parts of their services. For example, here in Missouri the nearest hospital to me does not have a trauma center. This is dangerous and things we got to think about.
