He hit another vehicle,( and more shall we say ) the police were told not to give him a sobriety test(per union OMFG) -- but the legal papers say- suspect alcohol- and he says "I was on OTHER DRUGS" ---common --Kennedy or not he should be held resposible as the rest? NO???

No one is perfect. I really don't know much about Patrick Kennedy, but I'm glad he is taking full responsibility of his actions.
And I agree, lisajunkiee, after Jack and Bobby, there has been a lot of wrong doings in the Kennedy family. Except for John Kennedy Jr., Caroline and Maria Shriver.    |

I don`t understand the fascination that the media has with the Kennedy family.

To Unique Dog: I guess the same fascination goes with the Presley family. We'll never know the reason why the Kennedys and the Presleys are of such fascination to the media.
I love Jack and Bobby, though. I don't really care what people think about me when I say that. I like Ted too. |

I like them too...But they shouldnt be able to continue to break the law with no consequences...I live in Kennedy land...They are always in the news. Oh well...I hope he gets the help he needs.

Yeah, it is quite long. I read it when it first came out...several years ago.
I watched a History Channel special on the Kennedys a few months ago. Can`t remember the title of the show. I admire the family`s determination and drive for public service. People are fascinated with the Kennedys because they're seen as public figures and role models and all they do is screw up all the time by driving drunk and driving girls into rivers with their cars... people are fascinated by the Presley family I'd say most likely because they're celebrities but private people at the same time and they just want to know more.
