I'll continue to write my message in poetry and rhyme
Hoping you will read it as you travel through time
Would you like me to change the style?
To lead you on through pastures of psychedelic flowers
To bring you to your knees with unbridled passion
Flowing in waves of ecstasy.
There is more to my meaning then just words thrown together in a spiritual rhyme
Where oranges are apples and apples are lime
It's a surreal world that I sometimes seek
I hope that you will all take a peek
And come out yearning for Madonna to bring us more
For you never know what the queen of Pop has in store.
But I can tell you this...it will never be a bore!

If I talk to you without my rhyme
Would you listen?
If Madonna sang a song without a meaning
Would you buy it?
If we start a revolution without a cause
Would you follow?
Speak to me in terms of what is meant to be
And you will see
That we all have a purpose and place on this earth
For what it's worth
May you find happiness within your life
As you live together as husband and wife.

When the children sing can it be heard in heaven above?

When we dance to a beat....will God understand or give us his seat?
When we study a new religion.....will it be God's decision?

When we have a child....will they teach us the truth?
When the preacher talks does he talk to our youth?

It's Madonna and her music that the children respect and love
But it's Esther and her words that will seek God above.


In a poetic verse I return for a day
To deliver a phrase that I hope will stay
In the hearts and minds of a generation lost in time

When Madonna speaks the world often listens
Either right or wrong her words make news
But not all must agree with her point of view

There are those who are famous who may believe what she says
Either live or on tape
Her words go to our heads
So sing sweet siren and lead us to your promised land
Take your fans by the hand and jam with your band

You are the Queen of Pop and you break new ground every day
So tell Elton to piss off and listen to what you say....

Call her by any name but it's all the same
It's only a name game
Call her Evita or Juliet
It's still a fame game
Will she play the part that will lead us to our start?
Will she sing or will she act?
Who is to say what part she will play?
These words are written from my soul

When Romeo meets Juliet.......
It may be in the background of Space
You see, the play I speak of takes place in the heavens above
With the help of NASA, this passion play of love...
Will take place in the heavens above...above the flight of the dove

As we watch the flight of the Shuttle, it takes us into space
Can you get my meaning as I take you to this place?
It's a play from the Inn Space Place
A Romeo and Juliet romance story taken to another extreme
Above the fields and streams
Do you know what I mean?

The name of the play is called SOMEWHERE
Somewhere up there a romance will come to be
Can't you see?
This place is a part of you and a part of me

It's a name game
Call her what you will
But her fame will give Juliet a new name to carry above
In the great SOMEWHERE of heaven and love.

A time to talk....a time to play
A time to accept awards....will their words stay?
As Madonna gets ready to take on the world yet once again
The Grammy's will show us where and when
When the music industry comes together for just one night
Will they be any different...will someone stand up and shed some light
Thank God for the music to keep us aware
Of how the times are changing.....but some don't really care
It often becomes truth or dare
To see who can speak with compassion and make a point
Or others who would go backstage to smoke a joint
These musicians would want you to make them stars
But still they will head out to the bars
To gather together like boys and girls
Can we still remember We Are The World?
When they banded together to make poverty and hunger a thing of the past
Why didn't this movement last?
I think Madonna will make her statement on Grammy night
If the time is right
She will sing her heart's song or present with a purpose in mind
For I still believe that there are others who would treat the world so kind
And sing with a purpose like Imagine was meant to be
For these artists should learn to represent you and me
The people who buy their music and make them a star
I only hope that they don't forget who they are



The time is near to see Madonna in all her glory
Will the Grammy's open a new chapter to her evergrowing story?
Who will we see when she takes the stage?
A mother of two...the queen of pop....will she show her age?
