If we act together to start a revolution
We might just come across a solution...
To some of the world's problems that we all need to cure
That is, if you think you are ready to endure
For Madonna alone can only inspire us to act
But we can band together to start a revolution if we all create a pact
To work together and achieve a goal
With Madonna in a postion to be a model for our role
We showed the world how we could come together in peace through music and song
We did it with Live Aid and Live 8.....how can we go wrong?
We just need to keep to the dream and don't hesitate
When the time is right we must not wait
We can band together and cure one problem at a time
Can you get the meaning in my message....can you see the consciousness in my rhyme
If we act together to start a revoultion....it must be for more then just one day
It must mean leaving egos at the door if the soultion is to stay
So continue to inspire us Madonna with your words, your songs, your beliefs and your shows
And together we can start a revolution and watch it as it grows

Hi, there! I like your poems. I'm a big Madonna fan as well. Although I don't agree with EVERYTHING Madonna says (about religion), I do agree that she has finally found her true self. That's nice to hear.

Thanks for your thoughts mate....Everybody has to deal with religion on their own terms...after all it is only a series of beliefs that make up a religion. I'm not up with Kaballah but if it makes her happy and channels her energy into the positive side of life...more power to her.

Inorder to start a revolution there must be a need for change
Not just words that are thrown around in a mind that is deranged
There must be a need to right what is wrong
This can be done through the poetry in a song
When Madonna adds music to a story
The poetry comes alive in all its glory
So let's act together to find a truth
A deeper meaning that appeals to our youth
For if the young can find a meaning to change
Then a social revolution will not seem that strange
But we must have more then Madonna on our side
We need the help of the famous to give us pride
For when we stand together as one
It is then that our revolution will be won
We must get over this fame that is yielding greed
It is then we can truly grow the flowers that will come from our seeds
When the seeds have been planted in our youth
It is then we will see the power of our truth!

Madonna was cool when I was 16 and many years after.......... and she is cool as far as how she says she raises her kids, but she needs to grow up. A 50 year old womanm,almost, needs to be more full of knowledge and so forth, not be "little chick" and get a hernia because she cant to the moves. dont get me wrong, I grew up loving M but I would like to see her being the middle aged, well rounded woman she should be. Not running around in little costumes!!!!! Hurting herself at that

Yes.....but she has gained power and the ability to influence our culture even at her age. You have to agree when Madonna talks people listen and when Madonna sings she always tops the charts unlike Lisa Marie and Britney. They all have their fans but Madonna is the queen of pop and holds in her hands the ability to change the world through her music, religion and fashion...she has done it in the past and continues to reinvent herself for the future,

Apparently you weren't around in the 80's when she caused a fashion sensation and later opened our eyes as to how we view sex. Now that she is a mother and writer of children's books she is inspiring the baby boomers of the 80's that you can still be a mother, teach them morals and be sexy at the same time.....Oh yeah about the Kaballah it seems to make her glow and give her inner strength but I don't follow it myself altough I might someday as will others because of Madonna.
