Hugged the bagger last night that found my kiddo's wallet, he is mentally ..I dunno I don't like the words that follow that word, he's not fast...lets say. He made sure I knew she was ok and that he'd helped, and his co-workers were telling him to calm down and stop bothering me, and he started frowning, and went back to work at the other register. When my stuff was all bagged, I went over and said thank you anyone who helps my kid is awesome in my book, and gave him a huge hug, the smile he had was made of GOLD. All he wanted was to know he had done well. That took two seconds of my time. But was invaluable.

Hahaha. I was tempted, but he so would not have been in hugging mode. Having Jenny, you are familiar with the cranky morning teenager syndrom (adolecentitus am). Their heads start spinning round, hair akimbo and fire shoots out the nose, mouth and in boys cases...the backside. So I let him sleep and snuck out to Starbucks and enjoyed the new Caramel mocha latte.

She's up before I ever would be, her work ethic is amazing. I have to catch up with her at work and make sure she ate, and has cash for lunch etc.. she always does.If I'm lucky she lets me get her some kind of trifle so I can grab a hug when I hand it to her. Got one tonight over some twizzlers. Then I run back and cheat and get another one,lol. I feel blessed.

Your lucky then. Girls mature faster than boys. I still have to drag him out of bed every school morning, even when he does set his alarm. He likes to get up like ten minutes before he has to leave. Just grabs whatever to wear, matching or not. Splashes water on his face, runs the toothbrush over the teeth and grabs a pop-tart and is done. I know when he does finally motivate himself to get his first job on the weekends that it will be the same way until his boss yells at him enough about looking like a bum and arriving one minute before work is supposed to start. He'll learn...eventually.

Well, that proves it, Imma boy. ROFL.

LOL.. I dunno bout the maturity, she drove me to an atm the other day, car full of teenage girls...they saw some of their guy friends in a parking lot, she nearly ran them all over getting close enough to say hi. Their friend Mike walks over looks in the car, says "Hi b*tches, ..something something .. p*nis..something."

Jen's eyes got moonlike and she threw her hands up with a "I HAVE A PARENTAL UNIT IN THE CAR!?"

Mike walked away , came back and re-introduced himself with a "nice to meet you."

I laughed all the way home.
