WHAT IS THE ESSENCE OF REALITY?


What is the essence of reality?
We can peer outside our windows and take in the sights
But through the windows of our eyes…
We behold only a fragment of the world
We look to the sea and behold the horizon
But what lies beyond?

Many cultures, many lands, many people, many places
But we only experience a fraction of the feelings that lies beneath the faces
Many say that they know all of what is real
But still many seek the heart that will help them mend and heal
If the heart is healed and the feelings are real…
We can travel above, thru the skies of love
Love has the power to alter reality and visualize truth
Love has the power to bring us back to our youth

As we travel the world and experience its gifts and joys…
We can see thru the eyes of girls and boys
We can look at ourselves and travel within
We can experience reality and learn again to begin
We can alter reality and help ourselves win
If we can win the hearts of the children of the earth
We can live a life of peace and experience a rebirth
If we look in the eyes of a lover and a friend…
The feelings that we feel will never have an end
Love can lift us higher, higher than ever could we be
If we never found a love to help us see

Yes, reality is altered thru the eyes of love
This magical feeling that comes from above
It starts from the heart and rises to the soul
It affects us in the eyes, it gives us our role
The spark of love that ignites the flame…
Lies deep down inside and will always remain
The eyes are like a mirror, they reflect the soul
The soul effects reality, it may make us spin and roll
Our heads may spin, our minds may wonder…
Is this love we’re feeling? It makes us ponder

Many things in life are uncertain and untrue
But love is for real…it’s for me..it’s for you
The mind may see visions and think them to be real
But if the feeling dosen’t affect affect the heart…
The feeling you’ll never feel

Many eyes think they have found a love
But this feeling they seek comes not from above
If a love is real, if a love is true…
The love will affect the heart and carry you thru
You will know in your heart that the feeling has come
You may not know where or how, but you’ll know who from
So if you keep to your faith and pursue this love…
Your mind and your soul will soar like the dove

Birds are so lovely, birds are so free
Birds spread their wings and fly across the sea
Love is so precious, love is so free
In the rapture of love, he becomes she and she becomes he

Yes love brings us together…we become as one
As it was at the beginning of time, so it must be done
If Eve came from Adam and Adam came from earth…
Then love is the power that gives us our rebirth
The children of the world are the reason we exist
They are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven
So why must we resist?
If we keep on this path of subjugating the meek…
How are we to grow if we never even seek?
If we seek to find the truth from within…
A truth that God gave his children to help us begin…
Then maybe we can live a life of peace and joys
And we can ask the advice of children…of girls and boys
But if we continue to follow the path of old
And not give the youth a chance to be bold
Then the feelings we feel will be borrowed and sold

Yes, true love and happiness you can’t buy with money
For the true feeling of love is like the taste of honey
It’s sweet and it’s precious and it lets us see
It may sting you at first, like that of a bee
But after the fear and the pain is gone and past…
The sweetness of the honey will make the feeling last
The pleasure of love will continue to grow
The vision in the eyes will let it show
The feeling from the heart will rise and flow

The soul will carry this feeling…
Above the sea and beyond the stars
It will lead us out of the darkness, out of the bars
Out of the loneliness, out of the greed
It will lead us to grow the flowers, to plant the seed
And when the seeds have been planted to bring forth fruit that is good
All men and all countries will live with peace and brotherhood
All of us are brothers and sisters on this earth
We just need to set our souls free, to experience a birth
When we experience a birth and a child is born…
We can let their love flow and cast out our scorn
When we learn from our children and listen to their truth
We will again feel young…we will remember our youth

So what is the essence of reality?
Perhaps we may never know
But if we can all find a love, then perhaps it will show
Yes, reality is only a perception, of mind and of time
And when reality is altered, time becomes sublime
Even a broken clock is right twice a day
So reality becomes just another word…a word that people say

I say that love is the word that gives us the ways and the means
So keep to your faith, your hope and your dreams
Because few things in life are as they seem
And if you strive to make real your dreams…
You will present yourself with the ways and means
And if you let love and children bring you joys…
You can be sure that they will bring you treasures…
Like love brought you toys
Because now you see the world thru the eyes of girls and boys

So when reality becomes altered and you ask yourself why?
Fear not the universe, but look to the sky
For the skies hold the answers and the reasons why we must try
We must all try to spread God’s gift of love
Because the gift of love has come from above
And so we must all try to attain the truth from within
Because this is where the spark lies that helps us begin

So if we can all begin to see the truth that is there
Then all mankind will prosper from our care
And together we will live and have each other to share
To share our lives, our futures and our past
AND FINALLY, we’ll have love at our side to make it last….
