I am afraid that some of your global warming nut jobs out there might be suffering from eco-anxiety. This is, apparently, a real disorder among the environmental nutcases. These are the people that worry about every gallon of gasoline that they burn and every piece of trash they throw away. They worry about it so much to the point where they are actually making themselves sick.

Listen to this ... Sarah Edwards lives in California. She is one of these environmental freaks who is constantly worrying about litter on the beach and pollution in the water. She says that because of her worries about the environment, she now suffers from fear, grief, anger, confusion and depression. This causes her to suffer from neck and shoulder pains and fatigue. Poor poor pitiful Sarah.

Sarah says that she only drives to the grocery store every three weeks. She has her own source of water. Her family has a compost pile and they no longer heat every room on the first floor of their house. And now we have come up with a new label for people like Sarah ... eco-anxious. These are the people who can't handle the thought that they are contributing to global warming, which will eventually lead to the dwindling of natural resources and the extinction of precious species.

So now that we have a new disorder, we now have a new profession: eco-therapists. Eco-therapy or eco-psychology focuses on how much time a person spends in nature, the person's carbon footprint and what individuals are doing to save the planet. One eco-therapist in Santa Fe says that she treats dozens of patients a month who suffer from eco-anxiety. And of course these therapy sessions come with a price tag upwards of $100 an hour. This, my friends, is a bunch of horsesqueeze. Soon, the government will be forced to pay for eco-therapy sessions, which means more of your tax dollars down the drain to treat the environmental whackos.

I can see it now. The next time someone fails to recycle at the neighborhood government school, they'll run in some eco-counselors to make sure the children can cope with the dirty deed.

How often, if ever, do you read the Bible? If read often, you would know what Jesus says.

There are always people who will go to the extreme on things . I recycle my trash because I want to not because I have to . I'm not sure if global warming is real or not but , will it hurt me to try to conserve energy no . Just don't go nuts over it

I try to conserve energy to save on my electric bill every month.

I have never seen 'freak' or 'nutcase' in the highlighted red Jesus-speak. What version do you have? Also, if you know, why not answer, if those are terms of his? It's 50/50.

lol the funny thing is.. even if Jesus HAD talked about freaks and nutcases... they'd have been the people he spent his time hangin' out with and ministering to anyway.

Furthermore, since when is it ok to call people who are concerned about the Earth and their kids (& their kids, etc...) future, considered nuts & freaks? I found this article somewhat degrading.
I do my part to not fill the landfills too much, we conserve water, etc...perhaps if more people took it seriously this world would not be in the state it is.

Also, I was NOT referring to all who do their part to conserve. There are individuals out there who are going overboard with this and those are the ones I`m referring to. Seriously, it`s plain obsurd that we have eco-therapists because of these certain individuals who can`t get a grip on this issue.


BTW, We have found the latest generator of global warming ... first it was cow ****s, then moose belches, now it is beetles.
