Our government is crazy. They don't know what its like to work on minimum wage. They are all guilty, they get their money and forget all of us little peeps. They will do nothing about this gas issue. One thing you can count on is they will blame each party.

Case in point, the dems have had control of the House and Senate for two years. Ask yourself, what have they done? Zip, nadda, nope, nothing.

Another case, the republicans have had control of the whole kaboom. Again, ask yourself, what have they done? Zip, nadda, nope, nothing.

Its the same old hype, we gotta worry about the environment and the other wants to drill, drill and drill. Geeze, we ain't got time for these games.

yeah ,but remember big government is socialism and republicans DO believe in individual health care not a clinic enviornment ,increasing our taxes ,and giving terroists a time table for our departure in iraq is genocide, i hate to sound lame but our constitution was written on states rights ,and individual freedom ,big government is why most of us left europe,to worship how we please and think our own thoughts.

I believe in the state rights issue. Here is what ticks me off, is what we all pay in these dang taxes, you got federal, state, sales tax, personal property, real estate, social security and I am sure there is some I am missing.

If states have the right then why does the federal government take so much from me? I am sick of taxes going to programs that are useless. The federal and state governments have created the biggest scam ever.

i agree with you the politicians are making a killing off people all over the world, but dems will raise the taxes even higher and give to the poor, the middle class will pay through the nose,individual state taxes ,say cigerettes are mandated by the states themselves like in new york some people drive down the eastern seaboard to get cheaper cigs to sell and really clean up. but the feds do seem to have to much control over states issues. the roads you drive on that tar is federal ,and i heard the feds have some say so in the speed limit also .

I agree they raise taxes and give to the poor and yes the middle class carries the burden. I can also argue the deficits are through the roof when dems have to take over and there is nothing they can do but raise the taxes. The republicans want to give the tax break to the wealthy. You just can't win with either party. They both forget the middle class workers of this country.

correct ,this middle class we take advantage of foots the bill for most of our progress.in places like hawaii,jamaica,italia ,sicilia ,there is no''middle class'' that's a fantasy ,either the cost of living will kill you or in other countries the government like in sicilia does'nt even repair damage that HAPPENED IN WORLD WAR II!,some parts of mexico are like that to the government could care less your on your own,thank GOD we have that to fall back on.

E, what you think about the drilling issue? I am so for that. I know we need other alternatives as well but I would love to see us take care of our own needs and keep the money here.

yes ,the oil is here ,just to mention in los angelos alone there are oil pumps in the middle of nice neighbor hoods! ,i think some are close to venice,but alaska is really hot with oil A.N.W.F. artic national wildlife federation wants us to stay out because of the caraboo moose!are you ****ing kiddin' me? a ****ing moose is keeping our country from saving money,bullwinkle will not be hurt, the area where they drill is no bigger in referance than a postage stamp on a football field.
