I tell you this primary season is just disgusting. Michigan and Florida will not be able to seat their delegates because they moved up their primary dates. I have heard several reasons why these dates were moved, it don't matter to me. People's voices should be heard.

After all, we went through this with the Bush/Gore election and the DNC now wants to shout out voices. Its disgraceful and unacceptable to me.

Our troops are risking their lives and we are spending billions of dollars to give other countries the opportunity to be free and allow them to vote but some of us Americans want to shut out voices from a couple of states.

This needs to be fixed, its not right and its unAmerican to me. People have been fighting for a long time just to get a chance to vote. It doesn't matter who said or who did what, let people vote for goodness sake.

I agree, the people should be heard. Its a shame that these people are not going to be heard because thier state government didn't follow the rules or go go through the proper channels to change the primary date.

I know, its just wrong. I never thought the DNC would do something like this. I tell you I just am not happy with Howard Dean and the DNC rules.

From what I have heard, Florida had all the Dem. candidates on the ballot. So I think that vote really should be counted. I think the Michigan primary did not have all the candidates, so maybe that one should be handled differently. But something does need to be done, I know I would be p*ssed if I had gone out and voted and it didn't count!!

I love listening to Howard Dean talking about the idea of using a mail-in ballot to straighten out the delegate mess in Florida. One of the reasons our esteemed head of the Democrat Party loves the mail-in ballot idea is because all of those soldiers in Iraq would get to participate.

Wait just a durned minute here.... Since when are the Democrats concerned about all those soldiers overseas getting to participate in an election? It's sad that I have to remind you of this, but back in 2000 when the Democrats were trying to eke out a win in Florida they sent hoards of Democrat lawyers to Florida with one purpose in mind ... to make sure those military absentee ballots were not counted. Now suddenly they're all concerned about giving our soldiers overseas their chance to vote?

This is the reason the DNC fought against those ballots. I do argue that all votes should count, its our right. Anyway, we all know Bush won by going to the Supreme Court so it don't matter.

I just think the DNC should count all votes, its a disgrace not to do so.

This serves to remind me also of the Democrat's penchant for trying to suppress military votes. Sadly, too few Americans remember that in 2000 Al Gore and the Democrats sent hoards of lawyers to Florida during the recount debacle. These particular lawyers were charged with one responsibility. They were to fan out to every single voting district in Florida and do everything they possibly could to make sure that military absentee ballots were not counted in the election. Funny, isn't it, how the media doesn't seem to be too eager to remind us of this attempt at voter suppression. But let the Republicans support the idea of a voter proving his identity at the polls and all media hell breaks out.

Those November 7 ballot postmarks are not the point. Military votes only have to be done 2 weeks prior to actual election. Those ballots were done and mailed in sufficient time.
