And our "friends" the Saudis are balking at increasing production. So while they continue to screw with us on oil ... let's be sure to respond here in this country by:

Refusing to drill in ANWR for more oil in the very portion of ANWR that was set aside for the purpose of drilling for more oil.
Refuse to tap the known reserves of oil and natural gas off the West coast of Florida because, after all, we certainly don't want tourists in Florida to catch sight of a drilling rig 25 miles off shore now do we?
Refuse to develop ways to use the oil shale from the Western United States.
Refuse to develop coal gasification techniques.
Refuse to build any more refineries in the United States.
Listen to the anti-nuke moonbats and continue to delay building some nuclear power plants.
And while we're doing all of these things let's make sure to keep the subsidies for ethanol at a ridiculous high so that we can take more land out of food production to grow more corn to be turned into an alternative fuel. We burn more than a gallon of fossil fuels to produce a gallon of ethanol .. so this sounds like a good bet to me!

Oh ... and let's continue to call the Saudis our friends and kiss their sandy butts at every possible opportunity.

I can remember past Presidents stepping in to help stop gas prices from increasing. Our current President could care less. Oh..that's right...he and Mr VP are all about the oil companies making record profits!

Well I have plenty to say about this.. My husband owns his own trucking company, well that was until we were put out of business due to fuel costs. Yes. Monday morning we were officially put out of business and now my husband is unemployed and hoping for a job at a local plant. Something has GOT to be done about this and so far I see ABSOLUTELY NO ONE caring about families like mine who try to earn a living the honest way and get screwed in the process. We were paying up to $1800 a week in fuel just to keep the business running. RIDICULOUS.

They have us all by the bal.ls and all they have to do is squeeze and we let out more money,lol, sux huh?. But, can we do anything about it guys?? This thing about conserving energy is getting serious, it is not threatening our food supply. Invest in green energy if you can guys. Make yourselves as self-sufficient as possible.

Actually, what I was going to say is; where are the screaming Dems? It wasn`t too long ago..........I believe around election time of 2006....when they all promised to do something about the gas prices and they would "see to it" that the prices were lowered... as usual, it never happened because it`s a promise, that they knew all along, they would never be able to deliver.
