This breaks my heart and makes me angry at the same time. I`m sad that he was put down. Something needs to be done about horse racing. Personally, I think it should be outlawed. Horses were not meant to be raced and treated the way they are treated.

i agree w/ dog racing ...but KY treats horses like gold. ...they need all their legs to live. ...they cant live lying down. ...his strong leg couldnt hold the weight and he was still sick w/ infection ...

I understand that he had to be put down. Horses need all four legs to survive. I`m angry because I think horse racing should be outlawed. He was only four years old.

I wouldn`t of thought of it either if it wasn`t for my daughter. She wants to work with animals--both domesticated and wild--when she graduates from college. She believes that horse racing is abusive.
