The Council on American-Islamic Relations has decided to launch a campaign to indoctrinate American journalists. Yesterday CAIR announced the launch of a new initiative called "Beyond Stereotypes," which they say will enhance journalists' understanding of Islam and Muslims.
CAIR will be distributing newly-published "American Muslims: A Journalist's Guide to Understanding Islam and Muslim." It will be going to more than 40,000 editors, reporters, producers and journalists around the country. But guess what? You, yourself can sponsor a copy to be sent to a local media outlet! Doesn't that sound like fun? The guide will provide "an Islamic prospective" on issues such as Islam and democracy, freedom of religion, women's rights, and interfaith relations. And if the guide isn't enough, CAIR also offers tips on pro-active educational activities like hosting media events and holding meetings with newspaper editorial boards. OK - Journalists. Here's your first assignment: Go to Ibrahim Hooper and the rest of the leadership of CAIR and ask them one simple question; to wit: "Would you like to see the United States under Islamic law?" No hedging .. no mumbling ... yes or no. ----------------------------------- Security is not the absence of danger but the presence of God no matter what the danger.
