Hey I am the first to admitt Bush was a screw up on MANY occasions. However I am also the first to admit Obama has already and is already being a screw up on many occassions in his short time in office. I also am able to blame Bush for his screw ups and blame Obama for his seperately which some have an awful lot of trouble with. To them anything Obama screws up all on his own is automaticly diverted to Bush. So yeah it is scary at times who has the right to vote.

Sidenote...it's why we all came over here.. originally.. right? So EVERYONE would be able to vote? EVERYONE? Not to defend the original AMERICAN WAY or anything , we had ideal we wanted to live up to.... and it's vicious to see how many would deny others that "right"..we made all this **** up and our "rights" as a nation. Whatvere you may en dup thinking about your neighbour.. we came here for equality. That has been astruggle to divide up between racial issues and sex issues and intelligence issues.. but ..conjoined in the advent of said EVERYONE, that includes ..guess what EVERYONE.

It's scary who ends up with how much power and what they may do with it. BUT in defense our the original ideal of this ever re-inventing great land...EVERYone should be able to vote, no matter wot you think of them.

Well.. right? Yep Pen everyone is allowed to vote, it is a Constitutional Right, so is carrying a gun, but we don't hand those out to everyone. JMHO tho.

And it takes a completely different mind set to want to carry a gun then to just simply have a voice? Sure, there's people that I'd prefer not vote the way they do, but I don't think insulting them is going to change their minds any, just keep them deadlocked in their train of thought. The sun can make a man take off his coat, a harsh wind will make him pull it tighter. By bashing our own infrastructure, we lose. Period. There's also those who vote one way from intimidation. Not fair to them either, if they simply are acting from fear, to tajke thier meager rights?

What it comes down to once again, is rep and dems insulting eachother. I'm right you're wrong and vice versa. I'm tired of watching the winking and b.s. meant to hurt everyone but those usually gun-toting/chad destroying high thinkers. I'm saying what's 'stupid' is prolly very obvious.

Where is the hypocrisy? I am rep and I am first to say Bish was a dumbarse and worse on several occasions in his 8 years. My point is to say that there are certain things that Obama has screwed up and made wrong choices in his couple months in presidency. Things he and he alone are to blame and yet each time a shortcoming of Obama's is brought up instead of actually adressing what Obama has done some go straight into yeah but look what Bush did back then. I am focused on right now and not what has been done and right now our NOW president has made some ****ty choices in his short time already IMO.

Lol, it was Clinton's fault when Bush got in and now it's Bush's fault. The spin cracks me up. In all seriousness, it does appear that you cannot speak out against the ideas of Obama because that is so wrong. Hogwash! He is a man just like Clinton and Bush.

To be honest I wish I could pull some of the idealism of the dems and the republicans. It just seems we never find middle ground, we just finger point. All in all its just an illusion.

Truly, Pelosi is the head of this chaos. I listened to Newt the other night on Greta and he said it best. Pelosi runs it, Obama is number 2 and our Senate's powers are being pushed aside. Just keep an eye on what they do for this next little package they will be working on this week.

One thing I don't understand is we get this whole extra $13.00 a week (for a short time) but taxes are going up everywhere here. Look at your state or local taxes, if you are a state that has a chunk coming from the federal government you gotta pay it back. Now they raised taxes on sales tax (all purchases), cigarettes, alcohol, etc. That $13.00 doesn't cover the increases. Spend, spend, spend, tax, tax, tax. My head is spinning.

I hear there is talk about taxing you on the amount of electricity you use. Come on, where does it end? If they tax those oil companies they will just pass that right onto us. Before you know it there will be an extra tax for eating at McDonalds.
