Ok I never paid much attention to what Peta was doing. I do think that we need to have ethical treatment of animals, spay and neuter dogs and cats because of over population(i take in rescues and homeless animals) but I almost choked when I read this on Peta.org. WOW they really are something else. Then I saw a blog on their site that Ron Jeremy @ At the Adult Entertainment Awards supporting their cause.

What I personally didn't like about them is that they threw paint on people who wore fur coats. That is just plain roguish IMHO to vandelize someone's clothes/property in a demonstration.(this was quite a few years back)

Putting Jamie Lynn Spears and Peta Spade Animals in the same paragraph is HATEFUL. How obsurde.

Down boys down.

To mention spading and the two together is absurd

I watched the ad and I think it's clever and to the point. Thankfully the AD DOESN'T mention Jamie Lynn, but for PETA to do so in their press releases, etc., linking Jamie Lynn to animal abuse is terrible. It's a cheap shot to make fun of a young woman who made a mistake and whose sister is already being tarred and feathered by the world's press. As an animal rights supporter, I am glad to say I am also a FEMINIST and have compassion for people, not only animals.

Bad taste, PETA. Unfair. Just plain wrong.
