I just have some stuff on my mind that I feel the need to share..........This is just how I feel. Doesn't mean I'm right or wrong, it's just how I feel.

What REALLY bothers me is how all the liberals do is call Bush names. They biotch about his policies, but I don't know their policies cuz they spend so much time saying what Bush is doing wrong that they don't have time to tell us what they would do right. They complain about the war in Iraq, but they voted to go to war based on the SAME info that Bush got from intellegence. The info may have been wrong, but Bush didn't make it up. I know people THINK he made it up and I'm guessing that is what he supposedly lied about and should be impeached for, but WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT HE LIED? I heard Alec Baldwin going at it with Sean Hannity on the radio the other day and it sounded like 2 second graders arguing on the play ground. Baldwin wouldn't answer ANY questions that Hannity asked. He just was callin Bush an iodot........blah, blah, blah. There's just NO SUBSTANCE to me when having a conversation with a liberal. Notice I am using the word "Liberal"? There is a HUGE difference between a liberal and a democrat. Liberals talk about what Bush is doing wrong. Democrats have IDEAS about how to make things better. I don't know many democrats.Case in point, there is a congressman in tennessee named Harold Ford running for the senate. He had an ad on tv about the ports deal that WAS A FLAT OUT LIE.Those are the things that just wear me out. They think people are gonna believe what they say just cuz they say it. I would like to think there are many more people out there like myself that don't believe EVERYTHING that is said in commercials or on tv and find out the FACTS from many sources.
I know you guys think this is another defense for Bush, but it's not. I just wish there were some democrats out there that would tell me WHAT THEY WOULD DO BETTER!!! There are some VERY important elections comin up in November and I intend to vote, but if I don't get a clear message from the dems, well then I'm gonna have to vote republican again.

o.k., I feel a little better. Thanks for letting me share......peace

Hey Simba, I can see where you're going with your way of thinking.
you read anything by ann coulter? She's very conservative, and she might not agree with all of us on various issues [like gay marriage, etc.] but she addresses this issue [when you say Liberals resort to namecalling and don't directly state their policies.]

Most of us hate bush, but you might find some of her work intriguing. I don't agree with her on everything, but I was able to sort through the book and found some good stuff. if you want the title it's [how to talk to a liberal, if you must]

again, no offense to persons taking a liberal point of view, I agrees with ya on certain things

Take me back to the Clinton years, to an intelligent president! No term limits, he was still in office, there would be no war, I suspect no 911. Saying the Democrats don't have the answers is just a way to cover up the horrible job this President has done. This President has damaged our country beyond belief, I know many agree with me. I am not a politician, and don't have all the answers, but having a president with a half a brain is a start!

Simba, I agree with some of what you're saying, honey. You have GREAT points. I am a Democrat and YES I agree with you: most of the Democrats I know hate Bush because of what they hear on the media and on Television. To be honest with you, I could care less what THOSE people on the TV have to say about Bush. For me, it's not about that. I do hate Bush and his guts. I don't agree with the war over on Iraq. I support our troops. They are heroes in my view. All hats off to them, no doubt. BUT there are a lot of innocent people dying in Iraq that are not supposed to be dying. Likewise with our soldiers. I don't agree with war on any circumstances. PERIOD. I don't care who started, or what was the cause. Bush said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and what I have heard, they never found any. Now to answer your question about what would we do better? You are right: I don't know what I would have done any better. Probably not go to war. That's just me.

Thank you for posting this, though.
I truly ADMIRE YOU. You rock!!!!!
I love people who stand up for what they believe in. Wink

I never said Bush has done a good job. If you asked anybody on here that knows me, they would say I'm a republican, but that's not true. It is true that I lean more towards the right, but I vote for the person, not the party.

Thanks to everybody who has posted. I know alot of us have our differences, but I appreciate the respect. As I respect you too. Smiler I just want to know what the democrats have to offer that is gonna make everything better.

Syd, I HEART YOU TOO BUD.....You can hold your own and I truly appreciate your honesty.

September 11th would have happened no matter who was in office at the time. However, I suspect you`re right about one thing; if Clinton had been in office there wouldn`t be a war because not much, if anything, would of been done to those who caused the attacks on 9/11. He was pretty much spineless when it came to international affairs.

CoolI am soooo glad to hear someone stick up for the President. I don't necessarily agree with the war. But I feel it is necessary to protect our country from another attack. I have never felt that Bush was responsible for the attack EVER! They've been able to stop just about every other attack on us so far. Look at all the terriosts that they've captured. Look at the prisoner of war that was set free to come home this weekend. People sometimes only want to see the bad and not the good. Its just like with LMP> So many of the Elvis fans don't think good of her. But you know wasn't put on this earth to go around and sing her father's songs. She was put here to sing her songs. An I'm thankful that she does. Her music is really awesome and it gets you in your gut. I can't wait for the third album to come out. Anybody have any ideas what her next album will be like? She's been through an awful lot changes since then. Just curious is she pregnant?

lightsout

now I agree with that.
I hate the fact that we are at war...
but the thing is, what if the soldiers there weren't fighting?

they might
GASP DRAFT US!!!
I do NOT want to serve in the military [while it is a very noble cause] I LIKE my head ON my shoulders, thank you very much...

I really appreciate what they are doing.
while nobody on God's green earth seems to agree on it, I think that IS one thing we can agree on. It must be pretty s.hitty to be over there like that
